A little behind the scenes…
I had a similar senior picture like this where I was in a stream looking down at a basket of flowers.  As soon as Kasey turned her head I thought of that very photo and how much I loved it.  Snap, snap.  And we got this…She loved it, too!Do we really have to climb back up this wall?!2nd fave of the day.  Love the laugh and the leading lines.Kasey and I both agree..FAVE, FAVE, FAVE.  She is laughing because her mother was behind me blinding all the cars passing by with the reflector.  Blinded by the light.  Name that singer!  Made for a FABULOUS shot.  Nice job mom! Yay, senior year!  So much fun!  Congrats, Kasey.  Class of 2012.  Bishop Ready High School.

Melissa, or Missy, as her momma would say, is such a sweetheart!  High school seniors are SO much fun to photograph.  So easy going.  So carefree.  Melissa would do anything I asked… even cartwheels on an old semi loading dock.

She brought her doggie, Jazmine. Jazmine posed. But only for beef jerky. She REALLY knows how to get her favorite treats!



Light Girl’s job was to be a fabulous wind stopper. She rocked it out.  Look.  Missy’s beautiful curls are perfectly placed.

As a woman, I understand how important it is to feel beautiful and comfortable in your own skin. After all, you have to love herself first, right?!  There is nothing more liberating than feeling like a million bucks and showing that off to the world. It is a wonderful feeling when you can look at a photograph of yourself and know that you look amazing.  Every woman deserves to unleash her inner supermodel. And I was here to capture that for Natalie.

This shoot was a gift to herself. And for that, I love! Here’s Natalie, rocking it out.

This cracks me up. Roberta looks like she is about to smack Natalie upside the head. The funny thing…Natalie loved this image so much she ordered it as part of her collage. Roberta, you may just need to be a staple in all of my photographs.

Oh, the bubbles. The bubbles that spilled everywhere in Natalie’s purse. I love. Totally her idea. We musta been shooting on the windiest day ever because this took about a billion takes to get bubbles to come through the little bubble maker thing.

These guys have trained for months and months.  Dieting, training and having more discipline than I could ever imagine.  And boy, oh boy did that training pay off!   They’ve got some rockin’ hard bodies.  And some big hearts to go with them!

She’s beautiful, and lovely and intelligent, and, really…the WHOLE package! I can’t say enough nice things about this little lady. She’ll be trying for the title of Miss Ohio in June. We headed to the Renaissance Theatre in Mansfield to get some beautiful photos of Ashley for advertising and programs. This place was AWESOME! So much character. Around every corner there was an awesome place to shoot. A dream for any photographer. And a dream for anyone trying for Miss Ohio as this is the exact stage Ashley will be walking across in these gorgeous gowns. Good Luck Miss Mansfield!

Do you see the mannequin? She gets her photo taken all the time by many who visit backstage. There was pictures of her with lots of Miss Ohio contestants hanging on the wall. She scared the jeebies out of me a couple of times!

Paige was so much fun. She is so cute, pretty and spunky! I’ve known Paige since she was just a little girl. I taught her gymnastics years ago. She was quite a handful then! She’s matured into such a beautiful young woman. Congrats on your senior year Paige! I wish you all the luck in your upcoming years.
